The Martin Event Space is a wedding venue located in Kansas City, MO. This unique venue was a church in the 1950s, and now offers 3,000 square feet of stylish event space. From Ceremonies and Receptions to Rehearsal dinners and Bridal Showers, it’s the ideal setting for any event. Inside its stunning interior, The Martin Event Space features polished concrete floors, 17-foot vaulted ceilings, and custom chandeliers. The venue has been lovingly remodeled in a modern, urban-chic style, though it still retains some historic details. Its unique arched wooden beams were part of the original Methodist church building, built in 1890. Ample natural light enters the space through windows and skylights, and its neutral decor makes it a perfect blank canvas for any wedding vision. Its Main Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests, making it suitable for events of all sizes. The ballroom’s French doors lead out to a beautiful garden patio, giving your celebration an indoor-outdoor feel. The venue also features a newly-remodeled get-ready suite and a white tiled bar for your reception. You can exchange vows indoors or outdoors, before celebrating your reception in the Main Ballroom. Alternatively, you may opt to host a small reception on the garden patio. A range of wedding packages are available, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your needs and budget. A day-of wedding coordinator will be on-hand to ensure everything runs flawlessly on the big day. The venue will provide event essentials including silver Chiavari chairs; round and banquet tables; and linens in black, white, or ivory. What’s more, the staff will take care of setup and cleanup, allowing you to relax and enjoy your celebration. There’s both an indoor and outdoor bar available for your use, with a choice of bar packages. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and features plenty of on-site parking for guests.
